We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Clare Fraser has officially qualified as an Advanced Tutor! This incredible milestone highlights Clare's unwavering dedication to educational excellence, student success, and continuous professional growth. Reaching the status of an advanced tutor requires dedication, mastery of diverse learning styles, clinical excellence and the ability to help course participants to unlock their full potential.

Let’s take a look at what this achievement means for Clare and how it elevates the learning experience for our entire community.

What Does the "Advanced Tutor" Qualification Mean?

An Advanced Tutor qualification is more than just a certificate. It is an internationally recognised hallmark of clinical and educational excellence that sets a healthcare educator apart. To achieve this elite status within the International Bobath Instructors Training Association, Clare had to demonstrate extensive expertise across several advanced neuro-rehabilitation and teaching domains:

  • Advanced Clinical Reasoning: Utilising the Model of Bobath Clinical Practice to link complex neurophysiology, patient assessment and the evidence to identify individual patient potential.

  • Bespoke Treatment & Movement Analysis: Designing highly tailored interventions based on clinical observation and palpation, movement diagnostics and clinical reasoning.

  • Expert Handling & Facilitation: Mastering focused hands on interventions to optimise sensory input, alignment, postural control and positively influence movement output.

  • Evidence-Based Postgraduate Instruction: Delivering high-level training and clinical supervision to qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Why Clare’s Journey Inspires Us

Clare has always been a dedicate member of BBTA and IBITA, known for her warm approach, exceptional patience, and the ability to make complex subjects easily understandable. However, instead of resting on her laurels, she chose to push herself further.

Her journey to becoming an Advanced Tutor involved self-study and reflection with a focus on integrating evidence-based practice into patient treatments and teaching, peer review, and practical examinations. This achievement is a reminder to that as a healthcare professional learning never stops, and that setting ambitious goals pays off. Clare didn't just pass; she excelled and participants on future course will be the beneficiaries of the knowledge gain during her journey to success.

Join Us in Saying Congratulations!

We could not be prouder to have Clare on our team. Her passion for teaching continues and this will have benefits for future course participant and other members of the BBTA team.
