Debbie Strang
Debbie qualified as a physiotherapist in 1986 from Queens College, Glasgow. She completed junior rotations in Fife and moved to Canada where she spent seven years as a lead physiotherapist in the NICU, neurosurgery and neurology wards in a large teaching hospital. From there she moved to Australia and spent three years working in Brisbane at a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation unit. In 1998 Debbie moved back to the UK to work at St. James hospital in Leeds as Clinical Specialist in neurology. After four years there, she worked briefly on the stroke unit at Bradford. She then moved to Scotland and worked for five years at Hairmyres Hospital as a senior therapist/ Team Lead on the stroke unit. Debbie currently works as a Team Lead physiotherapist at Wishaw Hospital on the stroke unit. Debbie qualified as a Bobath Tutor in 2003. She successfully completed her MSc in the Bobath Concept in 2006.
